November 6 - Snow CrystalFrozen moisture, air currents, clouds, and temperature crafted the snowflake in this image. The crystal was carried for miles by updrafts and then gently laid to earth with millions of others.Because no two flakes can occupy the same space in time, each one must be physically different.We can relate to the intricate and individual beauty of creation as people crafted by the hand of God in the womb and allowed to grow into who we are.For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. November 13 - Super MoonThis month's Super Moon rises from behind the South Pier Lighthouse and appears 16% larger than normal full moons. An incredible sight to behold on a warm November evening.He made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting. Psalm 104:19
November 15 - ConvergenceIn contrast, the old Interstate Bridge stands to the Blatnik Bridge in the twilight of a November evening.As I stood there on the fishing dock, viewing the two bridges, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. The Blatnik Bridge, with its sleek design, represents today. On the other hand, the old Interstate Bridge, with its rusted metal and rotting wood, represents the past. It reminded us of the struggles and challenges that led us to where we are today. Yet, as I gazed at both bridges, I realized they were part of the same story - the story of our harbor and the people living here.I remember the days of old; I meditate on all you have done; I ponder the work of your hands. November 17 - Snowy PinesOn the fringe of winter, new ice on the lake and fresh snow in the trees make a beautiful November day. The occasional chirping of the local chickadees enjoying the cold and the crisp fresh air, which has a faint smell of pine trees, all add to the peacefulness of the winter landscape. It's a perfect day to venture out and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding us.He gives snow like wool; he scatters hoarfrost like ashes. Psalm 147:16

With their multi-colored bands of quarts, the gemstones are beautiful examples of the handiwork of God.The beautiful agate is one of the twelve gems surrounding the throne of God. -- The fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. With winter right around the corner, local rivers, lakes, and streams begin to freeze and settle in for several months' rest under the ice.As winter takes hold, the landscape transforms into a winter wonderland. The peaceful stillness that accompanies the snowfall is only interrupted by the sound of the occasional bird chirping. It's a serene environment that makes you appreciate the beauty of nature in all its forms.From its chamber comes the whirlwind and cold from the scattering winds. By the breath of God, ice is given, and the broad waters are frozen fast. Job 37:9-10
